حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

«مَا كَانَ فِي رَأْسِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ مِنَ الشَّيْبِ إِلَّا شَعَرَاتٍ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَأْسِهِ إِذَا سَرَّحَ لِحْيَتَهُ ودَهَنَ تَبَيَّنَ وَإِذَا تَرَكَهَا لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ»

✧ There was no gray hair on the head of the Prophet ﷺ or his beard except a few hairs at the parting of his head. When he combed his beard and oiled it, they became visible; when he left it, they were not apparent.
