حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سُمَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو طَرِيفٍ

أَنَّهُ شَاهَدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحَاصِرٌ لِأَهْلِ الطَّائِفِ فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ حِينًا لَوْ أَنَّ إِنْسَانًا رَمَى بِنَبْلِهِ أَبْصَرَ مَوَاقِعَ النَّبْلِ

✧ He witnessed with the Prophet ﷺ while he was besieging the people of al-Ta’if, and he would lead us in the afternoon prayer at a time when, if a person shot his arrows, he could see where the arrows fell.
