حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ وجَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَا ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ ابْنَا النَّضْرِ بْنِ شُمَيْلٍ ثنا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَعْدِيهِ عَلَى غَرِيمٍ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ «الْزَمْهُ ثُمَّ لَقِيَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ» فَقَالَ «يَا أَبَا أَخَا بَنِي الْعَنْبَرِ مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ»

✧ He came to the Messenger of God ﷺ seeking his aid against a debtor of his. He said to him: “Stay close to him.” Then he met him after that and said: “O brother of the Banū al-ʿAnbar, what happened to your captive?”
