حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ السَّدُوسِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رِمْثَةَ قَالَ

جِئْتُ مَعَ أَبِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ ابْنُكَ هَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَتُحِبُّهُ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ

Translation

✧ I came with my father to the Prophet ﷺ. He said, “Is this your son?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Do you love him? Indeed, he will not be held liable for you, nor will you be held liable for him.”
