حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ يَعْلَى بْنُ مُرَّةَ أَنَّهُمُ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى طَعَامٍ دُعُوا إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا حُسَيْنٌ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ صَبِيَّةٍ فِي السِّكَّةِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ فَشَبَّكَ يَدَيْهِ فَطَفِقَ الْغُلَامُ يَقَعُ هَهُنَا وَهَهُنَا وَيُضَاحِكُهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ تَحْتَ ذَقَنِهِ وَالْأُخْرَى فِي فَأْسِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ اتَّبَعَهُ فَقَبَّلَهُ وَقَالَ حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ أَحَبَّ اللهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ حُسَيْنًا حُسَيْنٌ سِبْطٌ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ

✧ Ya‘la b. Murrah reported to him that they went out with the Messenger of God ﷺ to a meal to which they had been invited. There was Husayn playing with some boys in the street. The Messenger of God ﷺ went ahead of the people and opened his arms. The boy began to dart here and there while the Messenger of God ﷺ made him laugh, until he caught him. He placed one hand under his chin and the other on the top of his head, then drew him close and kissed him, and said, “Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn. May God love whoever loves Husayn. Husayn is a tribe among the tribes of Israel.”
