حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورَ بْنَ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا دَاوُدَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَمْرَاءِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي بَابَ عَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَيَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا»

✧ I heard Abu al-Hamra' say: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ come to the door of Ali and Fatimah for six months, saying: "Allah only desires to take away impurity from you, O People of the House, and to purify you thoroughly."
