✧ Abu Shuraih al-Ka'bi: "Whoever sees me quarreling with a son-in-law of mine, [after] he has given me his daughter in marriage and I have given him my daughter in marriage, then I am insane that day, so cauterize my head. And whoever sees any [stray] kid or milk belonging to Abu Shuraih being sold in the market, then it is my plunder. And whoever sees me disputing with a neighbor of mine over a single brick, then I am insane, so cauterize my head." He said: Then a neighbor of his called 'Ajrafah tested him and took ten cubits from his house. They said to him: "O Abu Shuraih, he has taken ten cubits from your house." He said: "He knows best." He said: Then his neighbor later returned it to him and went back to his right.
