حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدَةَ ابْنِ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ غَنْمٍ وهِشَامُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ مَرَّا بِعَامِلِ حِمْصَ وَقَدْ شَمَّسَ أَنْبَاطًا فِي الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ

أَحَدُهُمَا لِلْعَامِلِ مَا هَذَا يَا فُلَانُ؟ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ يُعَذَّبُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذِّبُونَ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا»

  3. ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr

✧ One of the two said to the agent, "What is this, O so-and-so? I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, 'God will torture those who torture people in this world.'"
