حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثَنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْبَخْتَرِيِّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْيَحْصِبِيِّ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ

«أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ إِذَا خَفَضَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَقَالَ لِي أَبَانُ بْنُ تَغْلِبَ فِي ذَا الْحَدِيثِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ وَضَحُ وَجْهِهِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ أَوْ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ

✧ He prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he would say takbir when going down and when rising, raise his hands at the takbir, and give salutation to his right and to his left. Shuʿbah said: Abān b. Taghlib said to me about this hadith: “until the whiteness of his face appeared.” I mentioned that to ʿAmr b. Murrah, and he said, “Or something like that.”
