حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ حَدَّثَنِي شَرِيكُ بْنُ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي السَّائِبِ مَوْلَى هِشَامِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ وَالْمُغِيرَةُ كَانَ فِي ذَلِكَ السَّفَرِ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا لِحَاجَتِهِ فَاتَّبَعْتُ أَثَرَهُ بِإِدَاوَةِ مَاءٍ فَنَفَرْتُ لَهُ الطَّرِيقَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey, and al-Mughira was on that journey. He said: One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to relieve himself, so I followed his tracks with a water vessel and cleared the way for him. He performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
