حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي الدُّمَيْكِ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ
أَنَّهُ سَكَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَائِهِ «فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يَغْسِلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَضَاقَ كُمَّاهُ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ وَكَانَتْ مِنْ صُوفٍ ثُمَّ» غَسَلَهُمَا وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ

✧ That he poured water for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from his vessel, and he washed his face. Then he went to wash his forearms, but his sleeves were too tight for his forearms, so he took them out from under the jubba—and it was made of wool—then he washed them and wiped over his leather socks.
