حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ
«أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ أُحُدٍ بَقِيَّةَ شَوَّالٍ وَذَا الْقَعْدَةِ وَذَا الْحِجَّةِ وَوَلِيَ تِلْكَ الْحَجَّةَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْمُحَرَّمَ ثُمَّ بَعَثَ أَصْحَابَ بِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ فِي سَفَرٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ مِنْ أُحُدٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed after Uhud for the rest of Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, Dhu al-Hijjah – and the polytheists oversaw that pilgrimage – and al-Muharram. Then he sent the people of Bi'r Ma'unah on an expedition at the beginning of four months after Uhud.
