حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُزَاحِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَرِّشٍ الْكَعْبِيِّ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ» خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجِعْرَانَةِ حَتَّى أَمْسَى مُعْتَمِرًا فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ لَيْلًا فَقَضَى عُمْرَتَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ مِنْ تَحْتِ لَيْلَتِهِ فَأَصْبَحَ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ كَبَائِتٍ حَتَّى إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجِعْرَانَةِ فِي بَطْنِ سَرِفٍ حَتَّى جَامَعَ الطَّرِيقُ طَرِيقَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسَرِفٍ قَالَ مُحَرِّشٌ «فَلِذَلِكَ خَفِيَتْ عُمْرَتُهُ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ»

✧ He said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night he departed from al-Ji'ranah until he entered the evening as a performer of 'umrah, then entered Makkah at night and completed his 'umrah, then left that same night and arrived at al-Ji'ranah as if he had spent the night there. Then when the sun had passed its zenith, he departed from al-Ji'ranah into the valley of Sarif until the road met the Madinah road at Sarif.” Muharrish said: “That is why his 'umrah was hidden from many people.”
