حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مَخْرَفَةَ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ قَوْمٍ تُجَّارٍ يَبِيعُونَ الْبَزَّ وَمَعَهُمْ وَزَّانٌ يَزِنُ بِالْأَجْرِ فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سَرَاوِيلَ فَقَالَ لِلْوَزَّانِ «زِنْ وأَرْجِحْ»

✧ We went out with a group of merchants selling cloth, and with them was a weigher who weighed for a fee. We arrived at Makkah, and the Prophet ﷺ bought trousers from them, and he said to the weigher: "Weigh and give more."
