حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجُذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْقِلُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اعْمَلُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ وَأَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ وَاقْتَدَوْا بِهِ وَلَا تَكْفُرُوا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْهُ وَمَا تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَرَدُّوهُ إِلَى اللهِ أَوْ إِلَى الْأَمِيرِ مِنْ بَعْدِي كَيْمَا يُخْبِرُوكُمْ وَآمِنُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالزَّبُورِ وَمَا أُوتِي النَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَلْيَشْفِكُمُ الْقُرْآنُ وَمَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ فَإِنَّهُ شَافِعٌ مُشَفَّعٌ وَمَا حَلَّ مُصَدَّقٌ وَلِكُلِّ آيَةٍ مِنْهُ نُورٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمَا إِنِّي أُعْطِيتُ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ مِنَ الذِّكْرِ وَأُعْطِيتُ طَهَ وَالطُّورَ مِنْ أَلْوَاحِ مُوسَى وَأُعْطِيتُ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ وَخَوَاتِيمَ الْبَقَرَةِ مِنْ كَنْزٍ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ وَأُعْطِيتُ الْمُفَصَّلَ نَافِلَةً»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "Act upon the Quran, deem lawful what it deems lawful, deem unlawful what it deems unlawful, follow its example, and do not disbelieve in any part of it. Whatever is unclear to you, refer it to God or to the ruler after me, so that they may inform you. And believe in the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, and what the prophets received from their Lord. Let the Quran and its clear explanations heal you, for it is an intercessor whose intercession is accepted, a witness whose testimony is believed, and for every verse of it there is light until the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, I have been given Surat al-Baqarah as part of the Remembrance, and I have been given Ta-Ha and al-Tur from the tablets of Moses, and I have been given the Opening of the Book and the closing verses of al-Baqarah from a treasure beneath the Throne, and I have been given the Mufassal as an additional portion."
