حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ

ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ «فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ اللهُ ﷻ إِظْهَارَ دِينِهِ وإِعزازَ نَبِيِّهِ ﷺ وإِنجازَ وَعْدِهِ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَوْسِمِ الَّذِي لَقِيَهُ فِيهِ النَّفْرُ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَهُمْ فِيمَا يَزْعُمُونَ سِتَّةٌ فِيهِمْ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رِيَابٍ»

✧ Ibn Ishaq: When Allah, exalted is He, wished to make His religion prevail, to honor His Prophet ﷺ, and to fulfill His promise, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went forth in the season in which the group from the Ansar met him. They were, as they claim, six, among them Jabir b. ʿAbd Allah b. Riʾab.
