حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالُوا ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا مُخَيِّسُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ «اللهَ تَعَالَى خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَرَحْمَةٌ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ يَتَرَاحَمُونَ بِهَا وَادَّخَرَ لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ»

Translation

  2. Hishām b. ʿAmmār
  3. Mukhayyis b. Tamīm
  4. Bahz b. Ḥakīm from his father from his grandfather

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “God, exalted is He, created one hundred mercies. One mercy is among His creation, by which they show mercy to one another, and He reserved for His friends ninety-nine.”
