حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ كَرِيمَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ الْوَحِيمَةُ ثنا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ الْقَنَوِيُّ ثنا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا تَرَى أَعْيُنُهُمُ النَّارَ عَيْنٌ حَرَسَتْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَعَيْنٌ بَكَتْ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللهِ وَعَيْنٌ غَضَّتْ عَنْ مَحَارِمِ اللهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Three eyes will not see the Fire: an eye that stood guard in the path of God, an eye that wept out of fear of God, and an eye that lowered its gaze from what God has forbidden.”
