حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ مَرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْفَيَّاضِ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ فَسَبَّحَ بِهِ النَّاسُ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِيَدِهِ أَنْ قُومُوا فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ سَجَدَ لِذَلِكَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ» وَقَالَ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ»

✧ “I prayed with Muawiyah, the Commander of the Believers. He stood in the second rakʿah, so the people said subhan Allah to him. He gestured to them with his hand to stand. When he finished his prayer, he prostrated two prostrations for that, then left.” And he said: “Thus I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do.”
