ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ شَاهِينَ ثنا خَالِدٌ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ طَرِيفٍ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ صَفْوَانَ وَجُنْدَبًا وَأَصْحَابَهُ وَهُوَ يُوصِيهِمْ فَقَالُوا لَهُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ «وَمَنْ شاقَقَ يَشُقُّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ I witnessed Safwan and Jundub and his companions while he was advising them, and they said to him: Have you heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ? He said: I heard him say: 'Whoever lets others hear of his deed, God will let others hear of him on the Day of Resurrection.' And I think he said: 'And whoever makes a breach, God will make things hard for him on the Day of Resurrection.'
