حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا رَجَاءُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُذْرِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَالَا ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ السَّلُولِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الشَّجَرَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْهَدْيِ مَعْكُوفًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهُ وَأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُدْخِلَ هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ كَارِهُونَ؟ فَقَالَ «هَؤُلَاءِ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ وَمِنْ أَجْدَادِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ ؓ»

✧ He witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the Day of the Tree and the Day of the Hady, when it was detained before reaching its place of sacrifice. A man from the polytheists said, 'O Muhammad, what compels you to bring these people upon us while we are unwilling?' He said, 'These are better than you and your forefathers. They believe in Allah and the Last Day. By the One in whose hand is my soul, he has indeed ؓ.'
