حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجُذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ عَنْ أبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَكُلُّنَا نَرَى رَبَّنَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ؟ قَالَ «أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ؟ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ خَلْقٌ مِنْ خَلَقِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أَعْظَمُ وَأَجَلُّ»

✧ I said: “O Prophet of God, will all of us see our Lord?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “What is the sign of that in His creation?” He said: “Does not each of you look at the moon on the night of the full moon? It is only a creature among the creatures of God, and God is greater and more majestic.”
