حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ الْحِزَامِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالُوا ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ»

✧ Al-Qaʿnabī narrated to us; and Abū Shuʿayb al-Ḥarrānī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allāh b. Jaʿfar al-Raqqī narrated to us; and Abū Yazīd al-Qarāṭīsī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Shaybah al-Ḥizāmī narrated to us; and Muʿādh b. al-Muthannā narrated to us, saying: Musaddad narrated to us. They said: Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, from Ṣafwān b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Ṣafwān, from Umm al-Dardāʾ, from Kaʿb b. ʿĀṣim, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting while traveling is not an act of righteousness."
