حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أبِي الْيَسَرِ قَالَ

أَتَتْنِي امْرَأَةٌ تَبْتَاعُ مِنِّي تَمْرًا فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ تَمْرًا أَطْيَبُ مِنْهُ فَدَخَلَتْ مَعِي الْبَيْتَ فَأَهْوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا فَغَمَزْتُهَا وَقَبَّلْتُهَا فَأُسْقِطَ فِي يَدَيَّ فَأَتَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ اسْتُرْ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ وَلَا تُخْبِرْ أَحَدًا فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «أَخَلَفْتَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا؟» حَتَّى تَمَنَّيْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ أَسْلَمْتُ إِلَّا تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنِّي مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَأَطْرَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طَوِيلًا ثُمَّ أَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ {أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ} إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ قَالَ أَبُو الْيَسَرِ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَرَأَهَا عَلِيَّ فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَهُ خَاصَّةً أَوْ لِلنَّاسِ عَامَّةً؟ قَالَ «بَلْ لِلنَّاسِ عَامَّةً»

✧ A woman came to me to buy dates from me. I said: In the house there are dates better than this. She entered the house with me, and I leaned toward her, pinched her, and kissed her. Then I became remorseful. I went to Abu Bakr and mentioned that to him, and he said: Cover yourself and do not tell anyone. But I could not bear it, so I went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and mentioned that to him. He said: “Did you betray a warrior in his family with something like this?” until I wished I had not embraced Islam except at that very hour, until I thought I was among the people of the Fire. The Messenger of God ﷺ lowered his head for a long time, then God revealed to him: {Establish prayer at the two ends of the day} to the end of the verse. Abu al-Yasar said: So I came to him and he recited it to me. His companions said: O Messenger of God, is this for him specifically or for the people generally? He said: “Rather for the people generally.”
