حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدِي يُعْطُونَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ عَلَى مَنَابِرَ فَإِذَا نَزَلُوا اخْتَلَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ أَنْتَنُ مِنَ الْجِيَفِ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَا يَرِدُ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said: "There will be rulers over you after me who speak with wisdom from the pulpits, but when they descend, it is snatched from them, and their hearts are more foul than carrion. Whoever believes them in their lying and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to the Pond. Whoever does not believe them in their lying and does not help them in their wrongdoing is of me, and I am of him, and he will come to the Pond."
