حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ دِهْقَانَ حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ أبِيهِ قَالَ

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَا فُلَانُ تَزَوَّجْتَ؟» فَقَالَ لَا فَقَالَ لِي «تَزَوَّجْتَ؟» فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ «أَبِكْرًا أَمْ ثَيِّبًا؟» قُلْتُ لَا بَلْ ثَيِّبًا فَقَالَ «فَهَلَّا بِكْرًا تَعَضُّهَا وَتَعَضُّكَ»

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he said, "O so-and-so, have you married?" He said, "No." Then he said to me, "Have you married?" I said, "Yes." He said, "A virgin or a previously married woman?" I said, "No, rather a previously married woman." He said, "Why not a virgin whom you could bite and she could bite you?"
