حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَرِيشِ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ شَاذَانَ ثنا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَارَكِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَ صَالِحٌ أَبُو الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة قَالَ

مَرَّ بِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَأَنَا أُوقِدُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ لِي وَهَوَامُّ رَأْسِي تَسَّاقَطُ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «احْلِقْ وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ أَوِ اذْبَحْ ذَبِيحَةً»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by me at the time of al-Hudaybiyyah while I was lighting a fire under a cooking pot of mine, and the vermin of my head were falling. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Do the vermin of your head trouble you?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Shave, and fast three days, or feed six needy people, or slaughter an animal."
