حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا هَمَّامٌ ثنا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

إِنَّ خَلِيلِي ﷺ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ «أَيُّمَا ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ أُوكِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ جَمْرٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ حَتَّى يُنْفِقَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ»

✧ Indeed my close friend ﷺ entrusted to me that "Any gold or silver that is hoarded and not spent in the way of Allah will be a brand on its owner until he spends it in the way of Allah."
