حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ وَسَمِعَهُ يَقْرَأُ «لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ أَخُوكُمْ مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ» «وَلَمْ يَقُلْ يُونُسُ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ» ة

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Musa al-Ash'ari when he heard him reciting: 'Your brother has been given one of the flutes of the family of Dawud.' And Yunus did not say in this hadith 'from his father.'
