✧ Ka'b b. al-Ashraf, the Jew, was a poet. He used to satirize the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions and incite against them. He said, 'Who will take care of Ka'b for me?' When he refused to desist from harming the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Muslims, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Sa'd b. Mu'adh, Muhammad b. Maslamah, and Abu 'Isa b. al-Harith, the nephew of Sa'd b. Mu'adh, with five men. They came to Ka'b, and he mentioned a similar account.
