حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ أِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَنْزَلَ فِي الشَّعْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُجَاهِدُ بِسَيْفِهِ وَلِسَانِهِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَكَأَنَّمَا تَرْمُونَ فِيهِمْ نَضْحَ النَّبْلِ»

✧ He said to the Prophet ﷺ: "Allah has revealed about poetry what He has revealed." He said: "The believer strives with his sword and his tongue. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it is as if you are shooting them with arrows."
