حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْخَلَّالُ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ثنا شَيْخٌ بِالسَّاحِلِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي قُشَيْرٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ قُرَّةُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَنَا أَرْبَابٌ وَرَبَّاتٌ نَعْبُدُهُنَّ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ فَدَعَوْنَاهُنَّ فَلَمْ يُجِبْنَ وَسَأَلْنَاهُنَّ فَلَمْ يُعْطِينَ فَجِئْنَاكَ فَهَدَانَا اللهُ بِكَ فَنَحْنُ نَعْبُدُ اللهَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَفْلَحَ مَنْ رُزِقَ لُبًّا»

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "We used to have lords and mistresses whom we worshipped besides God. We called upon them, but they did not answer; we asked them, but they did not give. Then we came to you, and God guided us through you, so we now worship God." The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "He has prospered who is granted sound intellect."
