حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَبُو عَتَّابٍ الدَّلَّالُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ يَجْنِي لَهُمْ مِنْهَا فَهَبَّتِ الرِّيحُ فَكَشَفَتْ عَنْ سَاقَيْهِ فَضَحِكُوا مِنْ رِقَّةِ سَاقَيْهِ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُمَا أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ»

✧ "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, said, 'By Him in whose hand is my soul, they both (referring to the father and mother) have greater weight on the Day of Judgment than anyone else.'"
