حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْجَصَّاصُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَسَسْتُ الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ وَقَبَّلْتُ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَقَالَ «مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟» قُلْتُ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, touched the seal between his shoulder blades, and kissed his hands. Then he came and said: “From which tribe are you?” I said: “From Muzaynah.”
