حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ

ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ شَيْخٌ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مَسْجِدِ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ «كُنَّا نُطْرَدُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ بَيْنَ السَّوَارِي»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ b. al-Walīd al-Narsī
  2. Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná
  3. Yaḥyá b. Ḥammād

✧ Abu Muslim, a shaykh who used to be in the mosque of Hammam, narrated to us from Qatadah, from Muʿawiyah b. Qurrah, from his father, who said: “In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we used to be driven away from praying between the pillars.”
