✧ Qais bin Asim al-Minqari, and he is Qais bin Asim bin Sinan bin Khalid bin Mundhir bin Ubaid bin Muqais, and the name of Muqais is only called Muqais because he hesitated when the sons of Saad bin Amr bin Kaab bin Saad bin Zaid Manat bin Tamim bin Ilyas bin Mudar bin Nizar bin Ma'd bin Adnan formed an alliance.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ المُجَوِّزُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ أَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ»
