حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَلُولٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِي عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِقِلَادَةٍ فِيهَا ذَهَبٌ وَخَرَزٌ مِنَ الْغَنَائِمِ تُبَاعُ فَأَخْرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا كَانَ فِي الْقِلَادَةِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَبَاعَهُ وَحْدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ»

✧ A necklace containing gold and beads from the spoils of war was brought to the Prophet ﷺ to be sold. The Prophet ﷺ took out the gold that was in the necklace and sold it separately, then said: "Gold for gold, weight for weight."
