حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِي

أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْهُمْ رَجُلٌ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ وَعَصَى إِمَامَهُ وَمَاتَ عَاصِيًا وَأَمَةٌ أَوْ عَبْدٌ أَبَقَ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ فَمَاتَ وَامْرَأَةٌ غَابَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَقَدْ كَفَاهَا مُؤْنَةَ الدُّنْيَا فَتَبَرَّجَتْ بَعْدَهُ فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْهُمْ

✧ Abu 'Ali 'Amr b. Malik al-Janbi narrated to him from Fadalah b. 'Ubayd, from the Messenger of God ﷺ, that he said: 'Three people, do not ask about them: a man who parted from the community and disobeyed his imam and died disobedient; a female slave or a male slave who fled from his master and died; and a woman whose husband was absent from her while he had provided for her the expenses of this world, and she displayed her beauty after him—do not ask about them.'
