حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّعْبَةِ عَنْ حَنَشٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ رِجَالًا يَنْتِفُونَ الشَّيْبَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَنْتِفْ نُورَهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever grows a grey hair in Islam in the path of God, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection.' A man said at that, 'Some men pluck out grey hairs.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wishes, let him pluck out his light.'
