حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَرْطَاةَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ كُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ وَلَا الْحُمُرُ الْأَهْلِيَّةُ وَلَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ الْكِتَابِيِّينَ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا طَابُوا بِهِ نَفْسًا وَلَا تَضْرِبُوا أَيَحْسَبُ امْرُؤٌ مِنْكُمْ قَدْ شَبِعَ حَتَّى يَظُنَّ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَمْ يُحَرِّمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَلَا وَأَنِّي وَاللهِ قَدْ حَدَّثْتُ وَأَمَرْتُ وَوَعَظْتُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: He said, 'It is not lawful for you among predatory animals: any that has fangs, nor the domestic donkeys. And do not enter the houses of the People of the Book, and do not consume their wealth except what they give willingly. And do not strike—does any man among you think that he has become full, until he supposes, while reclining on his couch, saying: "Allah ﷻ has not forbidden anything except in the Qur'an"? Verily, by Allah, I have indeed narrated, commanded, and admonished.'
