حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ أَوْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَوْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخَذْفَ فَإِنَّهَا تَكْسَرُ السِّنَّ وَتَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ وَلَا تَنْكِئُ الْعَدُوَّ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Beware of al-khadhf (throwing pebbles with the fingers), for it breaks the tooth, puts out the eye, and does not harm the enemy.”
