حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَا ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيُّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ» فَصَفَفْنَا كَمَا نُصَفُّ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فَصَلَّيْنَا عَلَيْهِ كَمَا نُصَلِّي عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Your brother the Negus has died, so stand and pray over him." So we lined up as we line up for the dead, and we prayed over him as we pray over the dead.
