حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حُمْرَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا جَلَبَ» وَالشِّغَارُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ الرَّجُلُ أُخْتَ هَذَا وَهَذَا أُخْتَ هَذَا بِغَيْرِ صَدَاقٍ وَالْجَلَبَ وَالْجَنَبَ كَانَ هَذَا فِي الرِّهَانِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "There is no shighār in Islam, and no janab, and no jalab." Shighār is when a man marries off the sister of this one and this one marries off the sister of that one without any dower. Jalab and janab pertain to horse racing.
