حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْجَمَاهِرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ التَّنُّوخِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَرَأَيْتُمُ الزَّانِي وَالسَّارِقَ وَشَارِبَ الْخَمْرِ مَا تَقُولُونَ فِيهِمْ؟» قَالُوا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ «هُنَّ فَوَاحِشُ وَفِيهِنَّ عُقُوبَةٌ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ مَا أَكْبَرُ الْكَبَائِرِ؟ الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللهِ» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَى إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا } وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ {اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ} وَكَانَ مُتَّكِئًا فَاحْتَفَزَ فَقَالَ «أَلَا وَقَوْلُ الزُّورِ» وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كُلُّ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ فَهُوَ كَبِيرَةٌ

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: "What do you say about the adulterer, the thief, and the wine drinker?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "They are immoral acts, and in them is punishment. Shall I not tell you of the greatest of major sins? It is associating partners with Allah." Then he recited: "And whoever associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." And undutifulness to parents. Then he said: "Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the final destination." He was reclining, so he sat up and said: "Indeed, and false speech." Ibn ʿAbbas said: "Everything Allah has forbidden is a major sin."
