حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ أَبَا عُشَّانَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكَ مِنْ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ فِي رَأْسِ الشُّفْعَةِ مِنَ الْجَبَلِ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَيُصَلِّي فَيَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي هَذَا يُؤَذِّنُ وَيُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ مَخَافَتِي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِعَبْدِي وَأَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Your Lord marvels at a shepherd of sheep on the top of a mountain crag who calls the adhan for prayer and prays. Allah, may He be glorified, says, ‘Look at this servant of Mine: he calls the adhan and establishes the prayer out of fear of Me. I have forgiven My servant and admitted him to Paradise.’”
