حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِالتَّيْسِ الْمُسْتَعَارِ؟» قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «هُوَ الْمُحَلِّلُ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّلَ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Shall I not inform you of the borrowed billy-goat?” They said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “He is the one who makes a woman lawful [for her former husband]. May Allah curse the one who makes a woman lawful and the one for whom she is made lawful.”
