حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ» أَوْ قَالَ «حَتَّى يُحْكَمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ» قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَكَانَ أَبُو الْخَيْرِ لَا يُخْطِئُهُ يَوْمُ إلَّا تَصَدَّقَ بِكَعْكَةٍ أَوْ بِفُولَةٍ أَوْ بِكَذَا سَمَّى شَيْئًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Every person is in the shade of his charity until judgment is passed among the people.” Or he said: “until judgment is rendered among the people.” Yazid said: Abu al-Khayr never let a day pass without giving charity, whether a cake, a bean, or something else he named.
