حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ثَنَا عَمِّي ثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو
أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ «نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَحُلْوَانُ الْكَاهِنِ أَجْرُهُ

✧ He informed him, saying: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from the price of a dog, the earnings of a soothsayer, and the dowry of a prostitute.” Ibn Shihab said: “The earnings of a soothsayer is his wage.”
