حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَا ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أنْ يَقْرَأَ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ» فَكَبُرَ ذَلِكَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَقَالَ «اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ الصَّمَدُ ثُلُثُ الْقُرْآنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Is one of you unable to recite a third of the Qur'an?" That seemed great to them, so he said: "Allah, the One, the Eternal Refuge is a third of the Qur'an."
