حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ
تَذَاكَرْنَا الْقِيَامَ عِنْدَ الْجَنَازَةِ عِنْدَ عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ «مَا زِلْنَا نَفْعَلُهُ» فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ «صَدَقَ ذَاكَ وَأَنْتُمْ شُهُودٌ»

✧ We discussed standing at the funeral in the presence of Ali. Abu Mas‘ud said, “We have continued to do it.” Ali said, “He spoke the truth, and you are witnesses.”
